Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions; Construction, Fit Out, Refurbishment, Housing, and Maintenance. We employ over 280 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland. Due to continued growth at Clark Contracts, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Planner to join our team at our head office in Paisley.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creating tender programmes and managing project schedules at a detailed level using Microsoft Project.
  • Maintain and process information from different team members and coordinate in a controlled process.
  • Work closely with senior management, business development teams, project teams, design teams and sub-contractors to maintain accurate, and up to date data for different stages of projects.
  • Track and evaluate progress of live sites and the pre-construction phases.
  • Apply agreed planning standards.

The Candidate

  • Experienced in the use of Programming Software such as ASTA or Microsoft project.
  • Be able to demonstrate the process of the information, coordination and presentation to others.
  • Managing NEC Contracts.
  • Engaging with Stakeholders of all levels.
  • Able to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and similar products.
  • Must possess scheduling, and planning experience, understanding of programmes, baselines, critical path analysis, rescheduling techniques, coding.
  • Site Management experience would be desirable.
