Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions; Construction, Fit Out, Refurbishment, Housing, and Maintenance.
We employ over 280 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.
We are now looking to recruit a Skilled Labourer to work on projects across the West of Scotland.
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting our site teams with general labouring duties, minor works and day-to-day site tasks to help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Role & Responsibilities
- Carrying out general labouring duties on a range of projects, including site clearance, moving materials, assisting trades and keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe.
- Supporting joiners, painters, plumbers and other trades as required, including basic preparation works, making good and helping to ensure jobs are completed to a high standard.
- Working in occupied and live environments, representing Clark Contracts professionally and providing a helpful, customer-focused service at all times.
- Maintaining a strong awareness of health and safety on site, following instructions, using tools and equipment responsibly and reporting any issues or concerns promptly.
- Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a labouring or skilled labouring role within a construction, main contracting or maintenance environment.
- A practical, reliable and flexible approach, with the ability to work well as part of a team and use initiative when required.
- As this is a mobile role covering multiple sites, a full UK driving licence would be preferable.
This is a full time, permanent position and the successful candidate will cover projects in the West of Scotland.
