Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts Ltd is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions; Construction, Fit Out, Refurbishment, Retail, Housing and Maintenance. We employ over 280 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Graduate IT Security Analyst to join our expanding IT team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for cyber security who is eager to develop their skills, take ownership of key security processes, and play a vital role in protecting the business as it continues to grow.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintaining security architecture for on-premises and cloud systems
- Overseeing vulnerability and patch management
- Managing endpoint detection and response (EDR), antivirus, email and web filtering, zero trust and network access control tools
- Aligning security architecture with CIS Controls
- Renewing Cyber Essentials Plus certification
- Assisting the IT Manager with project development tasks
Candidate
- Have a relevant degree in a Cyber Security related field
- Demonstrate strong technical IT skills across security tools and systems
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Be highly organised, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise multiple tasks
- Be proactive, self-motivated, and eager to take ownership of challenges and opportunities
- Display ambition to grow their expertise and contribute to continuous improvement within the IT function

This is a full-time permanent position, and successful candidates can be based either from our Paisley head office or our Edinburgh Office in Newbridge.
