Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts Ltd is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions; Construction, Fit Out, Refurbishment, Housing and Maintenance. We employ over 250 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland. We are seeking a highly organised, proactive Part-Time Administrator to join our busy Paisley head office for 3 days per week, Monday to Wednesday. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoy multitasking, this role could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Professional Reception & Switchboard Management: Provide a warm and efficient first point of contact for all callers.
- Mail Handling: Ensure timely and accurate management of incoming and outgoing post.
- Document Control: Handle scanning, filing, and photocopying, ensuring impeccable document management.
- Email and Admin Support: Assist in managing email correspondence and maintaining drawing registers.
- Meeting Room Coordination: Organise and prepare meeting rooms, including refreshments (tea, coffee, lunches).
- Building Manual Compilation: Liaise with subcontractors to compile essential building documentation.
- Stock and Supplies: Oversee stationery inventory and assist with various administrative tasks across departments.
Candidate
You’ll be someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will bring the following:
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in an office or administrative role in a fast-paced setting.
- Skills: Strong organisational and communication skills, with an eye for detail.
- Attitude: A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Bonus Points: An administrative qualification or prior experience in the construction industry, though not essential.
