We’re hiring a Director of Thought Leadership to join our team in London (UK). In this role, you will coordinate the development and delivery of insight-led content aligned to strategic business priorities across Life Sciences & Healthcare. This is a hands‑on coordination and execution role, focused on turning strategic priorities, SME input, and market context into a clear, structured thought leadership plan and ensuring delivery against it.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments

  • At least 10 years of experience in thought leadership, editorial, journalism, or strategic communications roles
  • Proven experience building and managing structured content plans aligned to business priorities across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience coordinating content development across multiple contributors, formats, and channels
  • Demonstrated ability to translate SME input, market trends, and strategic priorities into clear content plans, briefs, and narratives
  • Strong experience delivering long‑form and short‑form content (e.g., executive articles, bylined content, editorial outputs) in a business environment
  • Experience managing editorial calendars and content pipelines end to end (planning, execution, and delivery)
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop content aligned to commercial or strategic objectives

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience supporting thought leadership in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or MedTech environments
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams and stakeholders
  • Experience working with external agencies or specialist writing resources

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Drive Thought Leadership Planning and Execution: Build and manage a structured thought leadership plan aligned to strategic growth areas, priority solutions, and target audiences across R&D, Commercial, and MedTech segments
  • Coordinate SME Input and Content Development: Work closely with subject matter experts and business leaders to translate strategic priorities and market insights into clear content briefs and aligned narratives
  • Manage End-to-End Content Delivery: Oversee execution of thought leadership across long‑form and short‑form content, ensuring delivery is coordinated, measurable, and aligned to agreed plans
  • Own Editorial Planning and Content Calendar: Build and maintain an integrated editorial calendar across channels, ensuring consistent output and alignment to business priorities
  • Support Content Creation and Quality: Contribute to writing, editing, and refinement where needed, and provide direction to internal and external writing resources to ensure quality and consistency
  • Ensure Alignment Across Teams: Coordinate across product, marketing, sales, and subject matter experts to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to thought leadership

About The Team

You will report to a Senior Director, Marketing, based in London and will be part of a global team distributed across multiple locations. You will work closely with product leaders, data scientists, consultants, marketing and sales teams, communications, and therapy area experts across Clarivate to deliver high impact, insight-led content aligned to business priorities.

Hours of Work

This is a permanent, full‑time position. The role follows a hybrid working model, with two days per week in our central London office.
