We are looking for a Senior Accessibility Specialist to join our global Academia and Government team and help craft intuitive and engaging digital experiences.
As a Senior Accessibility Specialist, you will partner closely with product teams to embed accessibility, ensuring inclusive solutions that meet WCAG standards and elevate customer experiences across web and mobile platforms. In this role, you will provide consultation, guidance, and influence to help teams prioritise accessibility requirements and integrate them seamlessly into design and development, leveraging advanced expertise in accessibility testing tools and techniques. You will also champion accessibility as a shared responsibility, collaborating with a range of stakeholders, participating in cross-functional teams, and serving as a resource for consultation to enable accessible product delivery.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Cognitive Psychology, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in accessibility testing.
- 3+ years' experience consulting on accessible design and/or code and/or digital content.
- Experience in using accessibility tools such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, ZoomText.
- Expertise in producing Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACR, VPAT).
- Knowledge of WCAG, Accessibility Conformance Testing, ARIA.
It would be great if you also had . . .
- Accessibility Certification (IAAP WAS, or CPACC) encouraged.
- Conduct accessibility audits and testing, produce Accessibility Conformance Reports and related documentation.
- Technical Expertise: applying advanced proficiency in WCAG standards and accessibility testing methodologies to identify, resolve, and prevent accessibility barriers.
- Product Consultation: partnering with cross-functional teams to embed accessibility into design and development lifecycles, consulting on designs and implementation approaches for accessible development and remediation.
- Process Development: developing resources and supporting workflow development to increase accessibility integration in the design & development lifecycle.
- Educate: help foster knowledge and growth in both internal and external communities, supporting content development for internal training resources for various technical roles.
About the Team
Our A&G Accessibility Team collaborates across products, partnering with product teams to further accessibility across the product lifecycle. We are highly valued by our product and technology partners across our segment who look to the Accessibility team to bring their expertise and user knowledge to strategic problems and initiatives that impact learning and research across the world.
Hours of Work
This is a full-time permanent position based in the UK and will require hybrid working in our London or Cambridge offices (2 days per week in office, rest of week remote). This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
