We are looking for a Medical Writer to join our Value Communication Centre of Excellence in London, UK or Remote, UK as part of our global Evidence, Value and Access consultancy group. This is an exciting opportunity to work on dossier and submission writing, development of slide decks and other visual materials with our creative design team, and research-based projects across a variety of therapeutic areas. About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments:
- Master’s degree (PhD preferred) in relevant Life Sciences & Healthcare field
- 1-2 years of Medical writing experience in market access, HEOR, or pharmaceutical consulting or equivalent.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
It would be great if you also had:
- Understanding of market access strategies, payer landscapes, and reimbursement processes across global markets.
- Familiarity with HTA agencies (e.g., NICE, HAS, IQWiG, CADTH, PBAC) and their evidence requirements.
- Awareness of real-world evidence (RWE), cost-effectiveness analyses, and budget impact models.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Provide a medical writing resource to the Value Communication department, acting as lead writer with close senior medical writer support, working within a team
- Undertake bespoke research and data collection as required
- Ensure all deliverables meet project objectives and quality standards, through accurate reporting of data from references and alignment with house style or relevant style guides
- Serve as the primary contact for clients on low-complexity projects, managing communications and resolving any issues that arise
- Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Contribute to project management tasks, including creating and updating Gantt charts and other planning tools
- Implement process improvements based on project learnings and feedback to enhance future project efficiency and outcomes
- Collaborate with other teams to align project activities with broader organizational goals and client needs
About the Team:
The team specializes in medical writing projects within the healthcare sector, supporting Pharma HEOR, Market Access, Digital Therapeutics, and Medical teams to effectively communicate value to healthcare decision-makers. We are a high-performing team of 20 professionals, serving as the Clarivate Value Communication Centre of Excellence. Our team consists of Market Access medical writers and HEOR consultants, working in close collaboration with consultant designers and digital specialists to deliver impactful solutions. Our work spans global and country-specific projects, including multichannel communication strategy, value proposition development, HTA submissions, and global value dossier development.
Hours of Work:
This is a full-time permanent position and can be based in London, UK (Hybrid), or Fully Remote, UK. This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
