We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Product Management - Trademark Data to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years experience in working with Intellectual Property (IP) data. This role requires a deep understanding of Intellectual Property, particularly trademarks.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, business, or law. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in working with Intellectual Property data.
- IP Knowledge: Strong understanding of Intellectual Property, particularly trademarks, with experience working with IP data and PTOs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools, data engineering, software development methodologies, and project management frameworks.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

What will you be doing in this role?
- Data Management: Lead the collection, processing, and analysis of trademark data, ensuring accuracy and completeness, as well as alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data scientists, legal experts, and business stakeholders, to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the trademark data landscape.
- Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a detailed roadmap, prioritising features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demands, and strategic objectives.
- IP Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise on trademarks and IP, guiding the team in developing innovative solutions that address the needs of IP professionals and businesses.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their pain points, and ensure the product meets their needs and expectations.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product and identify areas for improvement.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of product managers, data analysts, and other professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

About the Team
This role reports into the Senior Director, IP Data and will lead the wider Trademark Data team as well as collaborating with key stakeholders throughout the business.
Hours of Work
Full-time, permanent role based out of one of our EMEA office locations on a hybrid basis, 2 days per week in the office.
