An exciting full-time opportunity to join an established company based in the Art & Crafts industry. A Machine Operator is required to manufacture our product range, working with mylar and acrylic sheets. You will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining our range of top spec laser cutters via computer software, loading and unloading the machines, and ensuring that all products are manufactured to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will be friendly and eager to learn, diligent and computer literate. A permanent full-time position will be offered, subject to satisfactory completion of a three-month probationary period. Central Edenbridge, Kent location.
Responsibilities include:
- An ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
- Being accustomed to modern practices
- An ability to multi-task, operating several machines at once in the most efficient way
- Some manual lifting
- Setting of machines via computers
- Regular quality checks on finished products
- Routine maintenance of machines
- Maintaining stock of consumable parts
- Final assembly work as required
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
