About the role
Having recently launched our Intelligence Unit, we’re looking for an Insight & Strategy Director who can contribute fresh ideas and drive our strategic initiatives forward. You’ll be based in our London office, and working across our global client base.
Key responsibilities include:
- Data Analysis & Interpretation – Collect, analyse, and interpret data from multiple sources from both qualitative and quantitative research methods to generate actionable insights that drive business decisions.
- Market Research – Conduct qualitative and quantitative research - especially from the B2B market - to understand market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscapes.
- Reporting & Storytelling – Translate complex data into clear, compelling reports and presentations that influence reveal unexpected outcomes, set the foundations for a strategy and enhance decision-making.
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams (account teams, new business, public affairs, digital marketing and corporate comms) to provide insights that shape strategies for clients.
- Tools & Technology Management – Utilise competitive tools such as Cision, SparkToro, SEMrush, Brand Watch and Web Index, dashboards, and data visualisation platforms to streamline insights and reporting processes and help to set our clients apart in the market.
- Customer & Audience Insights – Through usage of tools and stakeholder interviews, develop deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and behaviours to enhance user experiences and engagement.
- Trend Forecasting – Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving consumer demands to inform future strategies - especially in the B2B market. Identify needs for clients and prospects to sell insight-based services to help drive more revenue.
About You
- Experienced and passionate about delivering high-quality insight and strategy work in the B2B market.
- Experienced in using audience understanding, competitive intelligence, and brand strategy to inform decision-making and client success.
- Skilled in both qualitative and quantitative research, with a knack for translating data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communicator, adept at presenting strategies and insights across all levels of an organisation.
- A proactive leader who drives insight standards, uncovers new opportunities for client accounts, and leads discussions to identify these opportunities.
- Resourceful and adaptable, able to receive feedback positively and adjust strategies quickly and effectively.
- Experience in developing insights for successful new business pitches and selling research-based services to clients.
