Clarity Business Travel company and a top 10 UK-based Travel Management Company which is part of The Portman Travel Group and includes Brighter Event, Elegant Resorts, If Only and Destination Sports Group. We are looking for an Internal Communications Executive who will play a key role in keeping our people informed, motivated and engaged. This role supports the delivery of our internal communication strategy, ensuring clear, consistent and meaningful communication across the organisation. Working closely with the Communications Manager and key stakeholders, you will create high-quality content, support business-wide change initiatives and help strengthen our workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering Internal Communications
- Support the delivery of the internal communication strategy and maintain a structured communication schedule.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to create and distribute engaging content for the weekly newsletter (In Touch) and important ad hoc business updates.
- Support change activity by ensuring communications are clear, timely and supportive.
- Maintain and regularly update communication distribution lists.
- Identify opportunities to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive company culture.
- Work with the Marketing team to ensure internal and external messages remain aligned.
- Produce clear, accurate and on-brand written content for a range of internal channels.
- Develop and maintain the company intranet to ensure it meets the needs of colleagues.
- Provide best-practice guidance and campaign support to stakeholders.
- Promote and raise awareness of internal communication capabilities across the business.
- Encourage feedback from employees and use data and insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor communication effectiveness and make recommendations for enhancements.
- Adhere to all company policies, processes and mandatory training requirements.
- Safeguard personal information and comply with data security principles.
- Work in line with relevant compliance frameworks, including ISO, PCI DSS, GDPR, Human Rights, Health and Safety and Anti-Bribery and Corruption.
- Support Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles, including sustainable and inclusive practices.
- Work collaboratively and demonstrate the organisations values and guiding principles (IMPACT).
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and creative thinking.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
- Good understanding of the business environment and industry trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
