This is a hands-on role with real breadth — covering UK tax compliance, advisory work, and working closely with Finance and external advisers to make sure we’re doing things properly, efficiently and on time. You’ll be the go-to person for tax, trusted by senior finance leaders and able to translate technical tax matters into clear, practical advice.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Managing all UK corporation tax and VAT compliance across the Group
- Preparing and reviewing tax computations, returns and related disclosures
- Acting as the main point of contact for HMRC and external tax advisers
- Advising on VAT treatment across complex travel products and services
- Supporting audits, statutory accounts and year-end processes
- Identifying tax risks and ensuring appropriate controls are in place
- Contributing to tax planning and efficiency projects where appropriate
- Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and advising the business on impact
About you
- Qualified tax professional (CTA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong UK tax background, ideally with exposure to VAT-heavy or multi-entity businesses
- Comfortable working both strategically and hands-on
- Able to explain tax clearly to non-tax stakeholders
- Well organised, detail-focused and confident managing deadlines
- Experience in travel, services or a fast-moving commercial environment is a bonus, but not essential
