The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
The role will be to run a caseload of RTA claims, primarily within the Official Injury Claim or the MOJ Claims Portal. The successful candidate will run the cases from receipt of initial instructions, through to settlement to include litigation where appropriate. The majority of claims will be mixed injury/hybrid injury claims, so there will be opportunity to value and negotiate settlements in accordance with the Judicial College Guidelines. There will be some scope for arguing for liability settlements.
The successful candidate will have the benefit of supervision and form part of a supportive RTA team. There will be basic administrative assistance, but the role will be largely self-supported. Supervision and training will be provided. A positive approach to client contact is essential.
The ideal candidate should:
- Have a minimum of 12 months’ experience of conduct of own caseload of RTA OIC/MOJ files to include OIC/Part 8 litigation
- Be able to evidence experience of working to targets
- Take a positive approach when it comes to working to achieve targets
- Want to take an active part in a motor team structure
- Be receptive to supervision and training
- Be organised, efficient, and self-motivated
Applications will be considered from people with less direct experience, but can show relevant experience of working in an insurance or legal role. Salary of up to £30,000 for the right applicant and there is a market leading bonus structure in place based on fee income.
