The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) is seeking a part‑time Receptionist to join the Reception team. The role involves welcoming visitors, staff and students via telephone, e‑mail and in‑person, responding to enquiries, operating the LIPA switchboard and sorting incoming post. The position commences as soon as possible, is permanent and offers split hour options where feasible.
Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming and excellent first point of contact with visitors, staff and students.
- Respond to enquiries by telephone, e‑mail and in person.
- Operate the LIPA switchboard.
- Sort incoming post.
- Support the Reception team in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five GCSEs, grades 4 or above, including English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage positively with a diverse range of people and thrive in a demanding environment.
