The Role
As a Pharmacist within our online pharmacy team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and appropriate supply of medicines, clinically reviewing prescriptions, supporting patient enquiries, and maintaining the highest standards of professional practice. Working in a fast‑paced digital environment, you will collaborate closely with prescribers, pharmacy technicians, dispensers, and the wider pharmacy team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinically review and check prescriptions to ensure the safe and appropriate supply of medicines.
- Assess patient information and verify the suitability of treatments before supply.
- Provide professional advice and support to patients via telephone, email, and online communication channels.
- Liaise with prescribers and other healthcare professionals where additional information or clinical clarification is required.
- Support safe prescribing and dispensing processes in line with legal, regulatory, and professional standards.
- Ensure all medicine supplies are accurate, appropriate, and fully documented.
- Respond to patient and operational queries efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance.
- Support stock management, ordering processes, and operational efficiency within the pharmacy.
