We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEO Strategist to join our dynamic team in London. As an SEO Strategist, you will be a key leader in providing strategic guidance for our clients, translating complex challenges into clear, actionable plans that drive organic growth and align with overarching business goals. You have a proven track record as an accomplished SEO professional with exceptional client-facing skills and the ability to combine high‑level strategic thinking with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Taking the lead on larger client portfolios, you will be responsible for defining and executing comprehensive SEO strategies.
  • GEO & AI Search Strategy: You will develop and implement Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) strategies, helping clients adapt to the evolving search landscape dominated by AI and conversational interfaces.
  • Client and Account Management: You will be a point of contact for a portfolio of clients, working closely with the client services team to ensure seamless delivery and communication.
  • Opportunity Identification: You will develop a structured, proactive approach to identify new growth opportunities for our clients.
  • Team Training & Development: You will assist the Head of SEO in our internal training schedule, delivering sessions on advanced SEO topics and mentoring junior team members.
  • Reporting & Analysis: You will provide valuable, actionable insights and analysis to clients, interpreting performance to tell a story, identifying commercial impact, and actively participating in efforts to continuously improve our reporting processes.
  • Thought Leadership: As a senior team member, you will contribute to the agency's marketing objectives by producing high‑quality blog posts, presentations, and other media.
  • Channel Leadership: You will be a key point of contact for the London office, supporting the channel leads in deploying and embedding our SEO proposition across the wider business and ensuring our methods remain cutting‑edge.

Skills and Competencies

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in a strategic SEO role.
  • Proven expertise in leading and managing large, complex SEO projects from concept to completion.
  • Advanced proficiency with core SEO tools including Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console.
  • A strong ability to interpret complex data to identify trends, opportunities, and the commercial value of SEO.
  • Foundational understanding of how web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript impact search engine crawling and ranking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for translating technical concepts into a clear, business‑focused narrative.
