If you\’ve gained some experience in agency, in-house, government, or parliament and are looking to join an organisation that delivers high-impact campaigns and works across exciting policy issues, then we want to hear from you.
The role would suit a proactive, enthusiastic and politically-savvy individual who thrives on autonomy, has strong research and communications skills and is not afraid to get stuck in. You will be an integral part of the team keeping an eye on policy shifts, ensuring clients and the team are spotting opportunities, drafting high quality and persuasive briefings and building connections with key decision-makers.
Our big focus areas are tech, cyber, telecoms and health, but we work in other areas too. Experience and/or a passion in these areas will give you a head start in this role. While your focus will be public affairs, you\’ll have the opportunity to broaden your horizons across PR, crisis communications, and corporate comms.
We are looking for:
- A policy wonk who loves to get into the detail of a range of interesting and complex issues
- An analytical mind, happy to get to grips with parliamentary debates, committee sessions, consultations and strategies from government and regulators, helping develop policy positions, briefings and correspondence
- A good understanding of government, parliament, and policy-making processes, with a desire to develop and learn more about how policy is made and politics really works
- Someone active in party politics
- Strong analytical abilities for interpreting consultations and strategies, and helping craft policy positions, briefings, and correspondence
- Proficiency with monitoring and research tools, including AI, for effective analysis and action
- Proactivity in identifying policy opportunities and providing actionable insights for clients and business growth
- Someone with experience across multiple sectors, ideally including tech, cyber, telecoms, or health, who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic agency environment with a positive attitude
- Ability to adopt AI tools and technologies to maximise efficiency and effectiveness across daily tasks
