A global SaaS business in finance automation is hiring a Professional Services Manager to lead its UK customer implementation function from its Derby office. The business is PE-backed, growing fast, and investing seriously in its UK operation. You’ll lead the UK team responsible for deploying the company’s software into enterprise customer environments. The work covers configuration, integration into customer ERPs (SAP, Oracle and others), customer workshops, project scope and onboarding through to go-live. You’ll own the strategic and operational running of the function. That covers the commercial side (revenue, margin and utilisation), delivery quality across UK implementations, hiring and development of the team, and the day-to-day relationship between professional services and the rest of the UK business. You’ll also be the local interface with the global PS leadership team.

You’ll take full responsibility for:

  • Strategic and operational leadership of the UK PS function
  • Revenue, margin and utilisation across UK delivery
  • Hiring, developing and retaining the team
  • Enterprise customer relationships at senior level: workshops, escalations, executive conversations
  • Representing your team and your function across the UK business and the wider global group
  • Partnering with the global PS leadership team to deliver consistent outcomes

Who we're looking for:

You bring a technical background in enterprise software, with the depth to credibly lead consultants who configure and integrate SaaS into customer ERP environments (SAP, Oracle and others). Your path into leadership could have come through implementation, integration, solutions architecture or software development. You’re not hands‑on day to day, but you understand the work. You’re at home in front of enterprise customers, leading workshops, handling escalations and having executive conversations. You’re equally comfortable owning the commercials in a leadership meeting. You’re a people‑first manager who builds and develops teams. You adapt your approach to different working styles, and you’re the kind of leader your team would describe as their advocate across the wider business. You think strategically and follow through on delivery.

What’s on offer:

A senior role in a profitable, established global software business with real ambition and the funding to back it. Genuine autonomy to shape the UK function. A clear seat at the senior leadership table locally, with the support of a global PS organisation behind you.

Practicals:

Based at the Derby office – predominantly office based for the first six months, then hybrid with two days minimum. Some travel including a two‑week onboarding period at French HQ.

Equal Opportunity:

Humnize represents clients that are equal opportunity employers and do not discriminate based on race, nationality, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, or any other protected category. We and our clients celebrate diversity and are committed to creating inclusive environments for all employees.
