Grange Property Management are looking for a Visiting Scheme Manager to look after our properties at White Horse Court in Storrington. With a 'can do' attitude you'll prioritise and manage your own workload independently. This is a varied and customer facing role supporting residents in maintaining their well-being and independence.
Lone working you'll have support from your Regional Manager and Head Office Team along with a Training and Support Assistant. Organised and able to work on multiple tasks, you'll have a good understanding of building maintenance as you'll be responsible for the general management of the building including organising repairs and maintenance of communal areas as well as to the structure of the property. You'll also oversee contractors who are on annual contracts and carry out the communal cleaning, gardening and window cleaning.
You'll be an excellent communicator who enjoys working closely with people from all backgrounds, able to develop and nurture good working relationships with residents, contractors and clients. As the first point of contact for any resident complaints, leasehold enquiries or property alterations you'll be able to advise and empathise with the resident age group which is typically 60 plus.
A good standard of IT knowledge and understanding is an important factor within the Scheme Manager's role, as you will be required to use applications such as Outlook and Word.
Information on the scheme: White Horse Court consists of 28 one-and-two-bedroom flats. There is a scheme manager's office, and the communal areas consist of a resident's lounge and kitchenette, laundry and communal gardens.
