Contract Type: Permanent

We're looking for 2 Fire Surveyors to play a key role in delivering safe, compliant homes for our residents. You'll ensure fire safety works are delivered to the required standards, producing clear specifications to address fire risk assessment recommendations and mitigate risk across a range of buildings.

Using your expertise, you'll apply current and historical guidance, identify best practice and respond to emerging legislative changes. You'll undertake building and technical surveys to assess condition, identify defects and evaluate risk, including across complex sites. You'll make informed recommendations for repair, improvement or new works, ensuring solutions are practical and risk-focused, and provide professional advice on construction regulations and best practice.

You'll also develop specifications and technical documentation, such as briefs, drawings and schedules of work; to support the procurement and delivery of programmes.

To be successful, you'll hold relevant qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH Fire Safety, IFE, BM TRADA/FIRAS, RICS, IOSH or a related degree) and bring experience as a Fire Surveyor focused on quality and performance.
