Our residential conveyancing team is looking to hire a talented Paralegal/Conveyancing Assistant. If you’re looking for a new challenge and have experience of post completion dealings, then this could be the move you’ve been waiting for!

The role

  • Post completion dealings, including Land Registry registration (within required timeframes), serving notices to Management Agents/Landlords, and dealing with Requisitions
  • File management, including matter inception, information updating, data input, the review of files and dealing with file closures
  • Requesting searches, redemption statements, deeds and required information from the Land Registry, Search Providers, Lenders, and other third parties
  • Drafting transfer deeds, and replies to pre-completion requisitions
  • Preparing stamp duty land tax returns and submission to HMRC
  • Preparing and setting files up for completion
  • Dealing with sale enquiries
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, and third parties

What we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant that is used to providing support on all types of residential conveyancing matters from inception through to post completion. Ideally, you will also have experience of simple sales, but it’s not essential as training can be provided.

To enjoy working at Clarion and thrive in the firm you will need to be motivated, a team player, commercially minded, calm under pressure and be able to work equally well autonomously and collaboratively.

The role is based in Leeds with the ability to work from home 2 days per week.
