We're looking for a Fire Safety Officer to play a key role in ensuring fire safety compliance across a diverse portfolio of properties and tenures. Working within a specialist technical fire team, this role provides expert guidance, advice, and oversight across the organisation. It also promotes effective risk management and adherence to fire safety standards and frameworks.
As a trusted subject matter expert, the Fire Safety Officer delivers clear, evidence-based assurance to the business. It also contributes to the development of future fire safety systems and standards, helping to strengthen capability across the organisation. It plays an important part in ensuring the organisation meets its legal, moral, and financial responsibilities.
The role also supports compliance with fire and building safety legislation and helps manage risk across a complex property portfolio.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Fire Safety qualification and a NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate (or equivalent). Experience of maintaining accurate, audit-ready compliance records is required, as well as a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle to carry out the role. This post is subject to Basic Criminal Record Check Clearance.
With hybrid working, base locations across England, and flexible working arrangements, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for. The role requires attendance at your designated office base, along with occasional travel to other Clarion offices, and the ability to travel across the region and, at times, nationally as needed.
