Do you have experience managing IT environments? Are you looking for your next challenge?
If you have an understanding of software development lifecycle and ITIL, with knowledge of cloud platforms and virtualisation then this could be your opportunity to join one of LinkedIn's Top Companies 2024!
We are looking for an IT Environment & Deployment Engineer responsible for managing non-production environments and coordinating deployments across development, test, and staging platforms.
You will ensure stable, consistent environments are available for system delivery and support the automation and reliability of deployment processes in line with business and programme needs.
Skilled in managing environment dependencies, configuration consistency, and data masking across multiple platforms and test stages, we will look to you to develop existing and new environment management practices by analysing and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
You will deploy new applications to meet customer requirements and design and perform environment and deployment related tests, responding to user emails to monitor, diagnose, and correct performance or configuration issues.
Familiar with CI/CD tools and scripting, and with managing environments for cloud, hybrid, and on-prem infrastructure, particularly in Azure-based ecosystems, you will monitor, identify, and correct straightforward environment or configuration issues to ensure stable and fully functioning application deployments.
If you have experience coordinating environment allocation and availability to support testing phases (system, UAT, performance) and the ability to manage competing environment demands across multiple delivery teams and delivery rings, then we want to hear from you now!
With hybrid working, base locations across England and flexible working arrangements this could be the opportunity you have been looking for!
