Hybrid role with a flexible base location across England. Salary ranges: London: £50,849-£63,561 per annum; National: £46,885-£58,607 per annum. In exceptional circumstances, salary may be up to 10% above the advertised range. Hours: 36 hours per week, flexible options considered. Contract Type: Permanent.
Role Overview
Test Automation and Release Engineer – responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automated test suites that validate integration solutions across our enterprise systems. Focus on Azure integration services (Function Apps, Service Bus) and ensure high test coverage for critical data flows.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using JavaScript, C#, and .NET.
- Create and manage automation environments for unit testing of integration components and System Integration Testing (SIT) for end-to-end flows.
- Automate testing effort with minimal code, ensuring reliability, resilience, and performance before production.
- Manage releases between environments, supporting safe delivery of integration changes.
- Test integration solutions involving APIs (REST, SOAP), message queues, and event‑driven architectures.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Git, Azure DevOps Pipelines, and Azure integration services.
- Experience testing integration solutions and designing test automation suites.
- Strong skills in JavaScript, C#, and .NET.
- Eligibility to work in the UK – must reside in England or Wales.
