We’re looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional to support the safety and wellbeing of our 4,000 colleagues.

Overview

Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, this role plays a key part in providing guidance across the business and maintaining high standards of safety.

Responsibilities

  • Own health and safety documentation, data, reporting, and investigations ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with legislation and best practice, sharing relevant updates to support a proactive approach.
  • Conduct inspections and safety reviews, promote consistent practices across teams, and embed Clarion’s safety culture from the outset.
  • Enhance data capture, drive continuous improvement and reporting analytics.
  • Review accident and incident reports to ensure investigations are proportionate and statutory reporting obligations are fulfilled.
  • Develop guidance materials and design and deliver training to support colleagues in following safe working processes.

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate (or equivalent) and strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
  • Confidence in applying legislation within a repairs environment.
  • Solid understanding of risk management and the ability to work within established policies and procedures.

This is a hybrid role with a base location at our offices in Stevenage or Norwich. Applicants must be able to undertake national travel and have access to their own vehicle as required. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. You must be eligible to work in the UK; Clarion are not able to offer visa sponsorship. You are required to reside in England or Wales for the duration of your employment.
