Role Summary
As a Customer Accounts Specialist you will support Clarion Housing residents in managing their tenancies, reducing arrears, and maximizing income collection.
Your work will enable residents to feel secure and supported in their homes through compassionate communication and sound financial advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct tenant home visits to review individual circumstances and provide advice and support.
- Take ownership of the full income and arrears process, utilizing Microsoft Dynamics and other contemporary technologies.
- Prepare court documentation when required and negotiate positive outcomes under pressure.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in CRM and housing management systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address complex customer situations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in customer account management, preferably within social housing.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and housing management systems.
- Excellent communication and empathy skills, capable of handling challenging scenarios.
- Ability to work independently and manage a competitive caseload.
- Candidate Requirements
Applicants must be able to travel across the region to remote locations where public transport may not be available.
You must be eligible to work in the UK, have no visa sponsorship requirement, and reside in England or Wales for the duration of the employment.
