We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Surveyor to join our team covering Peterborough, Cambridge and surrounding areas. Reporting to the Neighbourhood Repairs Manager you will be responsible for pre/post-inspection and reports for responsive repairs, void works and cyclical repairs, consulting and engaging with customers and leaseholders, and with internal and external stakeholders. You will plan and coordinate repair, maintenance, and construction work to deliver according to cost, time, and quality standards. You will undertake building and technical surveys to determine building condition and identify defects and associated risks. You will carry out major void inspections and ensure that work is completed in line with KPIs and make recommendations based on survey findings.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Surveying, Property and Maintenance Level 3
  • Member of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS or CIOB)

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate repair, maintenance, and construction work to meet cost, time, and quality standards
  • Undertake building and technical surveys to determine condition, identify defects and risks
  • Conduct major void inspections and oversee work to KPI targets
  • Prepare pre/post-inspection reports for responsive repairs, void works and cyclical repairs
  • Engage with customers, leaseholders, and internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Based in the UK with eligibility to work in the UK
  • Travel across the region as required
