Maintenance Surveyor

Location: Islington, North London

Salary: London - £37,854 - £52,051 per annum; National - £34,869 - £47,945 per annum

Hours: 36 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Closing Date: Wednesday 8th July 2026 at midnight

Responsibilities:

  • Pre/post inspection and report writing for responsive repairs, void works and cyclical repairs
  • Engage with customers, leaseholders, internal and external stakeholders
  • Plan and coordinate repair, maintenance and construction work to meet cost, time and quality standards
  • Carry out building and technical surveys to assess building condition, identify defects and risks
  • Conduct major void inspections and ensure work is completed in line with KPIs
  • Make recommendations based on survey findings

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Surveying, Property and Maintenance Level 3
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS or CIOB)
  • Ability to travel across the region as required

Additional requirements:

  • Basic Criminal Record Check Clearance
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK; not eligible for visa sponsorship
  • Required to reside in England or Wales for the duration of employment
