Clarion's Gaming Division is the world's biggest information provider for the global gaming (gambling) sector. We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to join our existing commercial team, reporting to the Head of Sales. The ideal candidate would be highly social, professional, commercially minded, a strong networker and someone who places the customer at the heart of everything they do. They would work across two events - iGB Affiliate Barcelona and iGB L!VE London as well as year-round digital media on igbaffiliate.com.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing an existing client base of loyal customers across events and digital
- Upsizing and growing spend from these customers at our events and online
- Leading on new business with the use of marketing campaigns and incoming leads
- New business hunting using LinkedIn, competitor events, previous show data and industry websites
- Understanding customer objectives and measures of success at our events
- Customer account management and relationship building over Teams, Zoom, email and phone
- Managing the daily pipeline on Salesforce
- Participation in internal meetings and calls with the wider sales team and other departments within the division
- During certain times of the year, international travel is required, mainly across Europe but occasionally further afield
Requirements
- Previous sales account management experience within a commercial role is advantageous
- Experience of live events or digital media sales experience is advantageous
- Experience using a CRM system, such as Salesforce, is desirable
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work calmly when under pressure
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Creative and positive approach to problem solving
- Ability to organise and balance multiple priorities in a day
