A summary of the responsibilities is below:
- Own and develop the global tooling and industrial engineering strategy, governance framework and long-term roadmap.
- Define global tooling standards, engineering principles and operational methodologies that support safe and efficient service operations.
- Manage the full tooling lifecycle, including concept, design principles, certification, compliance, availability and retirement.
- Drive the development and continuous improvement of tooling databases, management platforms and ordering systems.
- Partner with digitalisation and IT teams to define business requirements for tooling-related digital solutions.
- Support product and service readiness by applying design-for-tooling principles during new product introduction.
- Develop standards for engineering KPIs, productivity measurement and capacity planning.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational performance, standard work and service execution.
- Build and maintain a global knowledge framework for tooling, documentation standards, and best-practice sharing.
A summary of the required experience is below:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, ideally with a focus on mechanical design or manufacturing and/or relevant experience in manufacturing, engineering or service environments, preferably with industrial equipment or rotating machinery.
- Strong project management skills, with experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including working effectively across cultures and functions.
- A structured, detail-oriented approach with the ability to create clear processes and drive continuous improvement.
