We’re looking for a collaborative and product-driven Product Engineer to join our Clario Europe team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping, refining, and delivering high-quality products by working closely with cross-functional Scrum teams. You’ll help translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements and ensure incremental product delivery aligned with our company vision and customer needs. You’ll collaborate daily with Product Analysts, Software Engineers, Software Testers, and Scrum Masters to ensure successful product outcomes through regular, incremental releases.

What you’ll be doing
- Own and refine the product backlog in collaboration with Product Analysts and stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment between backlog items, product vision, and business objectives.
- Author, manage, and refine user stories, spikes, and related work items.
- Define clear acceptance criteria, ensure proper sizing, and maintain quality standards.
- Prepare teams for sprint planning by validating and prioritising upcoming work.
- Collaborate with the Scrum Master and development team during sprint planning and execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related questions (what and why).
- Support teams throughout the sprint to ensure delivery of high-quality product increments.
- Provide UXD/HCD guidance to optimise user experience and product value.
- Partner with remote and global teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective delivery.
What we look for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or 3+ years of equivalent professional experience).
- Demonstrated experience working in software development using the Scrum framework.
- Proven experience gathering, authoring, and managing product requirements and user stories.
- Experience facilitating requirements elaboration sessions and rapid design workshops.
- Strong ability to identify, analyse, and troubleshoot software features and product issues.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, GitHub, MS Office, and other product development platforms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
