What You'll Be Doing
- Provide software design, development, and application support for Clario products in line with departmental standard operating procedures.
- Lead and contribute to the development of native mobile applications for Android and iOS within the Trial Application Platform (TAP).
- Support both released software and new feature development across the TAP ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the full product development lifecycle in an Agile environment.
- Drive high-quality, maintainable, and scalable solutions within a regulated clinical trials context.
- Mentor and coach engineers, supporting technical growth and best practices across the team.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and promote efficient, reliable delivery practices.
- Apply AI-assisted engineering techniques to improve development efficiency and solution quality.
What We Look For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience and training.
- At least 6 years of experience working on enterprise-level software projects.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, object-oriented programming, and React or a comparable modern frontend framework.
- Solid understanding of React Native concepts and mobile build processes; experience with Kotlin, Java, or Swift is desirable.
- Proven experience with state management using mutable models.
- Background working on modular, highly configurable platforms.
- Experience with pixel manipulation, configurable forms, and video or audio functionality.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within collaborative, cross-functional Agile teams.
- Prior mentoring or coaching experience within an engineering environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices.
- Competence with AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows.
- Ruby experience is a plus.
- Ability to work from the United Kingdom (remote or hybrid, role-dependent).
