The Account VP, Business Development has senior level responsibility for generating new clients, specifically within the Biotech and emerging markets. Key elements to successfully managing an assigned territory are building a strong sales pipeline, advancing sales opportunities and growing relationships with unidentified accounts.

What you\’ll be doing
Identify Business Opportunities:
- Generate new leads and prospects through research and outreach.
- Prospect qualified sales leads from various sources including inside sales and trade shows.
- Manage corporate meetings and exhibitions.
- Represent Clario at local, national, and international meetings.
Develop and Secure Business:
- Generate Request for Proposals (RFPs) from new clients.
- Write business and technical proposals.
- Negotiate client contracts.
Maintain Client Relationships:
- Provide support, information, and guidance.
- Recommend new opportunities and profit/service improvements.
- Establish and maintain industry and client contacts.
- Develop and maintain client profiles, updating the contacts management system.
- Understand Clario\’s services, competitor offerings, and market trends.
Maintain Quality Service and Standards:
- Adhere to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in establishing and enforcing departmental standards.
- Participate in modifying company SOPs related to Business Development.
Maintain Technical Knowledge:
- Attend and participate in company-sponsored training.
- Stay updated on industry trends and applicable technology.
