The role involves assisting the Senior Product Manager (SPM) for the Skincare and Body category, coordinating and implementing skincare brand-related activities, POS and kits. Responsibilities include managing the Clarins Skincare range alongside the SPM, including forecasting, POS, and acting as the key point of contact for the range. Day-to-day admin tasks within the category include presentation documents, pricing, and general support.
What you’ll do:
- Conduct regular competitive reviews and reporting, including store visits to maintain a strong overview of market activity.
- Lead the development of POS materials for key launches.
- Manage and update the marketing budget on a monthly basis, including raising POs and maintaining the PO and invoicing tracker.
- Oversee copy for new product launches, including CRM, PDPs and product information sheets.
- Own forecasting and management of annual gift sets, including local production.
- Oversee the pricing process, including competitive analysis and bi-annual pricing communications for the category.
- Manage discontinuation lists for skincare and body care, including phase-in and phase-out products.
- Own printed materials (e.g. skincare and body planners), including updates and stock management.
- Create PowerPoint presentations as required (e.g. strategy meetings, global visits, company meetings, forecasts, S&OP).
- Manage all product and POS code requests.
- Handle category trade requests (e.g. NLFs) and manage Boots line list processes for skincare.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners and retail contacts.
- Work closely with the VM team to ensure seamless in-store execution.
- Support the SPM with forecasting for new product launches.
- Provide general administrative support to the Senior Product Manager.
- Provide ad hoc NPD and Circana analysis.
You are:
- Commercially focused with a creative approach and an eye for design.
- Able to build high quality and profitable relationships.
- A confident communicator - both verbal and written.
- A flexible team player with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure to fixed deadlines.
- Capable of using initiative and adapting to various situations.
You have:
- 2 years+ Marketing experience, ideally from the luxury cosmetics sector.
- A good understanding of current trends and landscape within the UK beauty industry.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent attention to detail.
