Responsible for Clarins Skin Care, the brand’s largest category, as well as Body Care and Aroma categories. Work closely with all members of the Marketing team to create the optimal conditions to support continued growth in these categories. Explore new ideas and suggest innovative solutions, proactively planning, executing, and developing various brand launches/focuses, and activities across all our retailers.
What you’ll do
- Serve as the UK authority for the UK skin care market with local and Global Marketing Teams.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director and Head of Brand Marketing to create and implement profitable National Activity Plans, including launches from Paris and UK-led initiatives, and ensure regular commercial analysis with P&Ls and budget reviews.
- Work closely with the Head of Brand Marketing on ad-hoc cross-category projects.
- Collaborate with Paris head office teams, reviewing and understanding marketing files, liaising with development teams on new product related copy and theme names, and providing analysis of launch/activity performance to Paris.
- Plan the allocation of products and sales support materials on Sales Plans.
- Collaborate with various departments (Training Team, Sales Force, Merchandising) and lead the cross‑functional project team to plan consumer-focused, consistent 360 campaigns.
- Utilise expertise in the category and the UK market to identify communication opportunities for new launches and inspire the existing product catalogue, then liaise with Global Teams for the necessary information and evidence.
- Identify launch/product messaging hierarchies that resonate with the UK market, create product information sheets and cascade them to all relevant teams.
- Work closely with external media agency and digital team to brief, plan and execute innovative and impactful campaigns for key launches, managing significant media budgets of circa £5m per financial year.
- Work with Clearcast and the Global Regulatory Team to create approved TVC scripts involving complex skin care claims and write copy for TVC scripts.
- Lead content creation across all paid media channels, ensuring all assets focus on key communication messages and reflect the individual channels and audiences.
- Provide information to complete retailer and sales force presentations and relevant support material; present all major activities to the sales team and retail customers at Clarins Company Meetings and Retailer Strategy Meetings.
- Lead price increase projects across all categories, set timelines, and work with the wider brand team to gather the necessary data.
- Design (including copy‑writing) locally produced POS material and manage the print buying process.
- Provide in‑depth analysis of Circana data for Clarins and the wider market, attend regular store and field visits, complete monthly reports and provide data on Clarins, competitor activity, and media activity in collaboration with Circana insights.
- Liaise with Supply Chain Teams to forecast new products, sales support materials and ongoing forecasts, conduct pricing analysis against competitors, and ensure changes to the range are managed and communicated to the wider business.
- Manage the budget of sales support material for the National Activity Plan, overseeing cross‑category lines, including production and uniform budgets.
- Empower, inspire and motivate the Assistant Product Manager, fostering an environment for creative thinking and guiding future development.
- Oversee and collaborate on Men’s activity as part of the overall skin care category, ensuring cross‑selling of relevant products and maintaining consistent brand messaging.
- Provide skincare insights to the team working on Christmas set forecasting and skin care set messaging.
Who you are
- Commercially focused with a creative approach and experience in design, print, buying, copy‑writing, and a strong sense for visual merchandising.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and a confident, convincing, and experienced presenter who can communicate at all levels.
- Always challenging the status quo and thinks beyond what is given – someone eager to take ownership.
- Experienced in overseeing the design and production of print and digital materials and publications with smooth implementation and evaluation.
- Confident communicator at all levels with excellent written and verbal skills.

- Proven track record in brand marketing with 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in skin care.
