Clariness is looking for a Project Management Team Lead - Clinical Trials (f/m/d) based in Berlin, Hamburg, London or Cape Town. Full-time; unlimited.

About the role:

As a Project Management Team Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects while leading and supporting a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators. Working closely with the VP Project Management, you will help drive operational excellence, foster collaboration, and ensure consistent project delivery standards across your assigned POD.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading, coaching, and supporting Project Managers and Project Coordinators within your assigned POD.
  • Overseeing team workload, project delivery performance, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
  • Supporting the professional development and performance management of team members through regular feedback and coaching.
  • Ensuring the consistent application of PMO standards, processes, and best practices across projects.
  • Collaborating closely with the VP Project Management to align on priorities, ways of working, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve project management processes, efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Acting as an active contributor to project delivery, supporting key projects and stakeholders as needed.
  • Fostering a collaborative, engaged, and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, project delivery, or a related leadership role.
  • Previous experience leading, mentoring, or developing Project Managers and/or Project Coordinators.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and delivery best practices.
  • Proven ability to balance resources, manage priorities, and support teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience driving process improvements and promoting cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience within healthcare, clinical research, clinical operations, or digital project environments is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
