Our client, a fast-growing FMCG brand with a strong presence across retail, wholesale, and out-of-home channels is currently recruiting a Business Development Manager. You will play a pivotal role in driving new business, strengthening key relationships, and identifying commercial opportunities across multiple FMCG channels. This is a high-impact role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and understands the dynamics of the UK grocery and FMCG landscape.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, duties to include:
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across retail, wholesale, convenience, and foodservice channels.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring strong relationships and consistent revenue growth.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and category insights to shape commercial strategy.
- Lead customer presentations, pitches, and product demonstrations.
- Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and NPD teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Develop and execute annual business plans aligned with company objectives.
- Track performance, forecast sales, and report on KPIs.
