Our client, an established national manufacturing company, has a requirement for a motivated, proactive, and hands-on Stores/Warehouse Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, duties to include:

  • Inspect the levels of business supplies and materials to identify shortages
  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
  • Initiate and coordinate optimal operational policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all company handling and shipping legislation requirements
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
  • Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
  • Help to recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
  • Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met.

Ideally applicants will have previous manufacturing stores/warehouse experience but is not essential as full training given. A meticulous work ethic, excellent communication & management skills together with a good level of physical fitness are essential together with honesty and integrity.
