Our client, a well-established, reputable health care company are looking to recruit a hardworking, reliable and proactive Medical Secretary/Events Manager for their busy office. Reporting to the Senior Partner, you will provide PA / administrative support and play a key role in the continuous improvement and development of the departments.
Duties will include:
- Maintaining medical and insurance records
- Handling communications and calendars
- Type medical documents (e.g. physician dictations and patient charts)
- Maintain detailed patient and medical records
- Manage office communications (e.g. phone, correspondence)
- Schedule medical appointments
- Work with insurance companies to process claims
- Process invoices, bills and payments
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Events management/planning for any corporate events both internal and external
As a successful candidate you will have previous experience as a medical secretary or similar administrative role, knowledge of medical terminology, regulations & medical office procedures and processing insurance claims would be beneficial. Confident and organised with an eye for detail you will possess strong communication and team-working skills and will be able to handle a high-volume workload in a busy department with minimal supervision.
