We are currently recruiting a Compliance Coordinator to join a well-established and successful business. This is a varied role supporting the wider business across compliance, governance, HR, Health & Safety, ISO, environmental management and operational administration.

About the Role:

Working closely with the Compliance Manager and senior management team, you will help ensure the business remains compliant with relevant legislation, regulations, industry standards and internal procedures.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and maintaining compliance policies, procedures and records
  • Supporting internal and external audits
  • Maintaining compliance monitoring systems and reporting
  • Supporting ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements
  • Assisting with non-conformances and corrective actions
  • Supporting HR administration, onboarding and employee records
  • Coordinating mandatory and compliance training
  • Supporting Health & Safety processes and inspections
  • Maintaining statutory compliance documentation
  • Supporting facilities, fleet and operational compliance
  • Monitoring key compliance deadlines and ensuring actions are completed
  • Providing general administrative support across the compliance function

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Compliance, Quality, HR, Health & Safety or Business Administration, supported by excellent organisational and administrative skills and a strong ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. You will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, confident written and verbal communication, and solid proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems.

A professional, discreet and confidential approach is essential, along with the capability to work effectively across varied tasks and responsibilities. Experience of ISO 9001 / ISO 14001, audits or compliance management systems would be advantageous. A background within automotive, retail or manufacturing would also be highly beneficial, particularly where you have worked within a regulated or process-driven environment.

In return the company offer a competitive salary and benefits, £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or compliance professional looking to develop their career within a broad Compliance & Operations role.
