We are currently working with a growing technology business in the healthcare software space who are looking to add a Junior DevOps Engineer / Platform Engineer to their engineering team. This is a great opportunity for someone with some commercial experience in infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, or support engineering who is looking to develop their skills further in a modern cloud-native environment.
The business is investing heavily in new cloud-based products and platforms, and they are looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to build a long-term career within DevOps and platform engineering.
The RoleYou’ll work alongside experienced engineers to help:
- Support and maintain cloud-based infrastructure
- Assist with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Support Kubernetes environments and containerised applications
- Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot issues
- Improve operational processes and automation
- Support system reliability, logging, and monitoring tools
- Work closely with development teams to improve delivery workflows
This role offers plenty of hands-on learning and the chance to gain exposure to modern DevOps practices and technologies.
Tech EnvironmentYou’ll gain exposure to technologies including:

You’ll ideally have:
- Some commercial IT or infrastructure experience
- Basic Linux knowledge
- Understanding of cloud platforms or DevOps concepts
- Exposure to scripting or automation
- Interest in CI/CD, containers, or Kubernetes
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technically
Any experience with cloud platforms, containers, Git, or automation tools would be a bonus.
