A well-established UK engineering company is seeking a Hybrid Part Time Technical Sales Administrator in Chorley to support its commercial and operational functions.
This role suits a detail-driven professional with strong organisational capability, technical awareness, and a disciplined approach to compliance, documentation control and cross-department coordination.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, duties to include
- Manage incoming customer enquiries and provide accurate information on products, specifications and lead times.
- Prepare and issue quotations, proposals and order confirmations in line with internal approval processes.
- Maintain CRM records, customer accounts and sales documentation to an auditable standard.
- Coordinate with internal technical, operational and supply-chain teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly interpreted, validated and delivered.
- Support the Sales Manager with pipeline tracking, reporting, forecasting and structured follow-up activity.
- Process purchase orders, monitor progress and provide customers with timely updates throughout the sales cycle.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, technical data and delivery schedules, ensuring all information is logged and traceable.
