We are seeking a welcoming Host/ess to join the Dante team at Claridge’s on a casual basis. Maybourne operates some of the world’s most extraordinary hotels, including Claridge’s, The Connaught, The Berkeley and The Emory in London, the Maybourne Beverly Hills and the Maybourne Riviera in the South of France, where exceptional experiences and stories of distinction are crafted that celebrate the design and character of every destination.
As a part of the finely tuned and knowledgeable team, you will be serving our guests delicious modern Italian cuisine and world-class cocktails, creating an unforgettable dining experience. No matter the time of day they join us, you will be there to provide our guests with a seamless service that lingers long after the last sip of their Negronis.
As a Host / Hostess you will be responsible for:
- Welcoming guests to the restaurant, and escorting the guests to their table with seamless efficiency, leaving a positive lasting impression.
- Creating genuine emotional bonds with guests, in order to build loyalty and create exceptional service experiences.
- Answering telephone calls, making reservations and managing bookings.
- Liaising with our Reservations and Front Office teams for bookings.
- Coordinating with the Dining Room Manager and Executive Chef for special requests, menus and assisting other colleagues throughout service.
Successful candidates for our Host / Hostess opportunity will:
- Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridge’s and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
- Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests' needs to create exceptional service experiences that result in lasting memories.
