Assistant Restaurant General Manager in London

We are seeking a driven Restaurant Assistant General Manager to join the Dante Mayfair team at Claridges. Maybourne operates some of the world's most extraordinary hotels, including Claridges, The Connaught, The Berkeley and The Emory in London, the Maybourne Beverly Hills and the Maybourne Riviera in the South of France, where exceptional experiences and stories of distinction are crafted that celebrate the design and character of every destination.

As Restaurant Assistant General Manager you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the Restaurant General Manager in the co-ordination and leadership of the day-to-day operation of Dante Mayfair in accordance with company food & beverage quality standards and the hotel's and Dante's policies, procedures and objectives.
• Having a strong presence in the dining room during operating hours in order to support the team and connect with guests.
• Communicating, motivating and training the Front of House team and Back of House team to encourage teamwork.
• Assisting in the generation of ideas to impact positively on revenue and ensuring the Restaurant remains competitive.
• Creating strong connections with guests, ensuring they have a reason to return.

Successful candidates for our Restaurant Assistant General Manager opportunity will:

• Be motivated and highly organised and preferably have previous experience within a similar role.
• Be a confident and well spoken communicator.
• Have the leadership skills and ability to assist in the leadership of a front of house team of 38 colleagues.
• Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridges and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
• Have exceptional knowledge of seasonality, quality food, wines and spirits.
