We are seeking a motivated leader to join Claridges ArtSpace Café and Bakery team as Manager. Maybourne operates some of the world's most extraordinary hotels, including Claridges, The Connaught, The Berkeley and The Emory in London, the Maybourne Beverly Hills and the Maybourne Riviera in the South of France, where exceptional experiences and stories of distinction are crafted that celebrate the design and character of every destination.

As Manager you will be responsible for:

  • The day to day running of Claridges ArtSpace Café and Claridges Bakery.
  • Ensuring that your time is split equally between both outlets in order to ensure a consistent high standard in both areas.
  • The recruitment, training and development of all colleagues within the department.
  • Maintaining high standards of service which is friendly and welcoming to reflect the neighbourhood ethos of the outlets.
  • Budget and cost management, bringing exciting ideas for revenue generation.
  • Managing and maintaining operating equipment and stock levels.
  • Maintaining a good knowledge of regular guests and customers.

Successful candidates for our Manager opportunity will:

  • Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridges and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
  • Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests needs to create exceptional service experiences, that result in lasting memories.
  • Be motivated, creative and have worked in a similar role previously.
  • Be passionate about coffee, coffee origins and coffee making.
  • Have a passion for food and quality products, be a team player who is an avid learner, who wants to be challenged and developed.
  • Have previous experience in leading a small team.
  • Be able to demonstrate a proven financial acumen.
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English.
