At the centre of London's Mayfair, Claridges is a unique combination of splendour and charm, renowned for its impeccable, intuitive service. The hotel's original art deco interiors have been interwoven with modern flourishes. It also has a famous all-day dining restaurant, the Foyer & Reading Room, and two bars: Claridges Bar and the intimate Fumoir.
As a Food Runner (Casual) in our Food & Beverage department your duties are to provide a warm welcome, and offer a wide range of food and drink service to our guests, including our award winning afternoon tea. Other duties include cash handling, mise en place, and beverage preparation. You will be part of a large team and be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests staying at Claridges and also for our many external guests.
We are looking for a strong, motivated individual, ideally someone who has worked in a similar role within the hospitality or travel and tourism industry. The person will be a team player who is an avid learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Other skills that will need to be demonstrated include:
- Strong customer care skills
- Ability to work under pressure

- Confident, professional and welcoming personality
