We are seeking an exceptional Director of Rooms to join the Claridges team.

Set in the heart of Mayfair, Claridges is an art deco icon and a byword for understated elegance. Claridges has a famous all-day dining and Afternoon Tea restaurant the Foyer & Reading Room, LEpicerie that offers a culinary theatre of the kitchen, and three bars: Claridges Bar, the intimate Fumoir and effortlessly elegant Painters Room.

Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, the Director of Rooms is responsible for overseeing the day to day running and the strategic planning of delivery of the Rooms Division operation at Claridges; ensuring the delivery of exceptional service standards across all areas.

The Director of Rooms will be responsible for the management and review of all aspects of the operation including our people, standards implementation, guest service satisfaction and revenue. You will be responsible for the creation, management and fulfilment of your divisions budgets and forecasts in conjunction with individual outlet Managers. In addition you will focus on maximising the profitability of all the Rooms outlets, whilst initiating new concepts and ideas.

You will also be responsible for managing the completion of annual reviews and evaluating annual Rooms Division objectives making sure that these are shared with all colleagues and reflect individual team objectives and the bigger picture goals.

We are looking for a self-motivated forward thinking individual who brings proven Rooms Division management experience within a luxury, multi-outlet environment. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate high levels of guest focus and display that they have a solid financial and commercial awareness. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to lead and develop your team and influence across all areas of the business. You will have a hands-on approach and take a proactive role with departmental managers in order to identify and support needs at all levels. You will be an inspirational leader, who is passionate in delivering extraordinary guest experiences and who takes pride in sharing success with your team.
