Overview

Junior Veterinary Surgeon, Clarendon House Veterinary Group, Chelmsford, Essex. Are you a Junior Veterinary Surgeon seeking a supportive environment in which to develop and grow? Join our six-vet small animal practice with an experienced team of vets and RVNs. We are well equipped and have a varied caseload, including standard and dental digital x-ray, ultrasound, flexible and rigid endoscopy, laparoscopy and ophthalmology equipment. We perform advanced surgeries such as TPLO, CCWO, and BOAS, as well as lateral sutures, laparoscopic spays and routine surgery. We also benefit from the Advanced Clinical Services Network for visiting cardiology and advanced surgical support.

You will work a 40-hour week over 4 days. There is no on-call requirement, and weekend consulting hours are rewarded with time off in lieu, encouraging a positive work life balance. We are based in Chelmsford, Essex and are commutable from surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

Contribute to a collaborative team with a strong work-up culture to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients. Participate in routine and advanced surgical procedures as part of a six-vet small animal practice, including ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopic procedures and ophthalmology as available. Support patient care and client communication within the practice.
