Our client is a locally owned and highly successful manufacturer based in Co. Down, that has been serving the international agricultural community for over 40 years. Through the development of innovative conservation packaging solutions for agriculture and industrial applications, the company has established a strong global reputation.

As part of its continued growth, the company is seeking to appoint an experienced Production Manager to lead its 24/7 manufacturing operation. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this is a key leadership position requiring a proven production professional with a minimum of three years' management experience within an ERP & data-driven manufacturing environment.

Candidates should demonstrate a strong track record in operational leadership, performance improvement and team development, together with experience of ERP systems and continuous improvement methodologies. The Production Manager will provide visible and inspirational leadership to a multidisciplinary team encompassing production, engineering, quality and health & safety functions.

Key responsibilities will also include fostering strong collaboration and communication across multiple shift teams, ensuring alignment of objectives, consistency of standards and the sharing of best practice across production operations. Working closely with the senior leadership team and colleagues across the business, the successful candidate will develop capability through coaching and mentoring, while driving a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence and accountability.
