Our client is an award-winning, design-led manufacturing business that has successfully redefined expectations within a traditionally conventional sector. Headquartered in Northern Ireland, the company has established an international reputation for innovation, engineering excellence and product leadership. Operating as part of a wider group structure, the business has a growing presence across international markets, supported by an expanding direct-to-consumer and e-commerce platform and a strong pipeline of future innovation.

Following the founders transition into a broader Group leadership role, the Board is seeking to appoint a commercially astute Managing Director to lead the next phase of strategic growth. This appointment will play a critical role in accelerating revenue performance, scaling direct-to-consumer operations and expanding the company’s footprint across key European markets. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, the successful candidate will assume full P&L responsibility for the business, with a particular focus on:

  • Delivering significant revenue growth across European markets
  • Leading the continued development and scaling of the direct-to-consumer and e-commerce proposition
  • Expanding international partnerships and routes to market
  • Identifying and capitalising on new growth opportunities informed by consumer insight, product innovation and evolving design trends

The Managing Director will provide strategic oversight across manufacturing operations, ensuring the business has the operational capability, infrastructure and leadership required to support sustained growth. The ideal candidate will be a commercially driven executive with a demonstrable track record of delivering transformational growth within dynamic, customer-focused environments. You will bring substantial experience across direct-to-consumer and e-commerce channels, combined with strong commercial judgement, strategic capability and an appreciation for design-led product development.

This represents a compelling opportunity to lead a distinctive and ambitious business at a pivotal stage in its evolution, with genuine scope to influence its long-term international growth trajectory. The role offers a highly competitive executive remuneration and benefits package, including long-term incentive arrangements aligned with shareholder value creation.
